The Cross Country team gave it their all at the St. Pat's meet! 🌟 Violet earned a 15th place medal, with Zoe (17th) and Jocelyn (18th) finishing strong and close together. The high school boys pushed hard to beat last week's times, with Ed achieving a new PR and Jayden finishing in the top half of the boys' race! Our junior high runners also showed determination, with Nattelia and Layla sticking together through to the finish, and Jayvin bringing home a 15th place medal for the junior high boys! 🏅 Great work, team! #BradyCrossCountry

Today, Brady Public Schools teachers and paras had an inspiring day in Hershey, joining local schools for Professional Learning Communities! It was a blast from the start, especially when Superintendent Foster took the stage for a glow-in-the-dark dance contest! 💃✨ The keynote speaker, Mathew Emerzian, reminded us that "We ALL Matter," leaving us all motivated and uplifted. Huge thanks to ESU 16 for organizing such valuable learning experiences for everyone! 🌟📚 #BradyPride #ProfessionalLearning #WeAllMatter #SoarLikeNeverBefore

First grade made their own Kissing Hand hats to go with their read aloud, “The Kissing Hand.” This story is about a baby raccoon nervous to start school and a mother’s love that follows him. Our first graders brought their own kissing hand from home to keep at school. I love how supportive our parents are at BPS!

Mr. Blecha has worn many hats at Brady Public Schools from coach to teacher to technology director. He has worn them with style and with grace and this year we are so excited to announce that he has transitioned into a new role. This position will come to no surprise for anyone who knows him well. He has eyes that see the best in people, ears that listen with empathy and understanding, and a heart for serving others. For the last couple of years, Mr. Blecha has been working on his guidance counseling degree. This year he will hang up his technology hat and serve as our PK-12 Guidance Counselor. Thank you, Mr. Blecha for your continued pursuit of knowledge and of serving our students so well!

Big shoutout to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and Officer Stamen for an eye-opening session on the dangers of impaired driving! Our students had a blast navigating a road course in a golf cart, first with clear vision and then with 'beer goggles' simulating BAC levels of 0.08% and 0.15%. The difference in their driving times was a powerful lesson in the importance of staying sober behind the wheel! 🚗
