Today we had a special visitor, Miss Nebraska! She spoke to our students about integrity, teamwork, and finding your special skill set to shine! ✨

Our Careers class got creative with floral arrangements this week! 💐 After learning the basics, students delivered their handmade bouquets along with a note of appreciation to staff members. Mrs. Boden received flowers from Andrew, Kenlee, Kai, and Marlee; Ms. Shaw from Dallas, Reanna, and Robbie; and Mrs. Foster from Sydney, Kyran, and Katie. Spreading gratitude one bloom at a time! 🌸✨

Today in Computer Science, students were introduced to micro:bits and got to code their names on the LED display—lots of creativity and excitement in the room! 💡⌨️ #HandsOnLearning #IntroToCoding #MicrobitMagic

Soaring through this week with our incredible FFA Advisors!!
A huge SOARing Eagle shout out to Mr. Mann and Mrs. Thomsen! These two have poured so much into our kids and the FFA program which has really taken off this year! They provided our Ag students multiple opportunities to compete in various FFA competitions across the state!
Fun Fact: Mr. Mann's favorite snack is steak and his favorite drink is lemonade. Mrs. Thomsens favorite snack is chips and favorite drink is coffee!
We also want to recognize them for their cool and calm demeanor at State FFA while comforting a student during a medical crisis. They were able to calmly and swiftly care for the student while waiting for medical professionals to arrive. This story has a happy ending and we appreciate their care and concern for ALL of our students!
It's educators like these that make BPS so special!!!

Mrs. Johnson is our 4th grade teacher and Mrs. Stearns is our 7-12 Math teacher. Each year they go above and beyond to help make the vision of our junior class a reality for prom!
Thank you for always going above and beyond and keeping students at the heart of all that you do!

We appreciate all that Ms Molly does to go above and beyond for ALL of our students!!
Well done and congratulations!!!

Students had a "hoot" of a time Wednesday with a very special visitor. Mrs. Monson found an injured owl and safely brought it to the school, where NE Game and Parks was able to pick it up for care. Before they arrived, K-6 students had a rare opportunity to observe the owl up close and learn more about this incredible animal.

April is all about introducing new faces, celebrating big wins, and looking at amazing events across BPS. Check out the highlights in this month’s newsletter!

Happy National School Librarian Day! 📚Today we celebrate Ms. Shaw, our amazing librarian, and Mrs. Franzen, her right-hand helper in the library. Thank you both for creating a welcoming space full of knowledge, creativity, and support for all our students! #ThankYou #NationalSchoolLibrarianDay
