We are pleased to share that the Nebraska Department of Education released their AQuESTT ratings for all public schools across the State of Nebraska. There are six tenants that measure the effectiveness of a school. We are pleased to announce that Brady Elementary earned a classification of GREAT and Brady High School earned a classification of GREAT!
Some highlights:
Brady High School reduced Chronic Absenteeism from 31% of students chronically absent (missing more than 20 days in a school year) to 24%. Math scores also substantially increased from 2022 where 40% of students were proficient to 2024 where 54% of students are proficient! That's 14% GROWTH!! ELA scores also increased from 45% of students proficient to 52% proficient!
Brady Elementary also has lots to celebrate as well! Math scores dramatically increased from 2022 where 45% students were proficient to 2024 where 67% of students were proficient! That is 22% GROWTH! ELA scores also increased from 57% of students proficient to 58% of students proficient.
Second graders shared their excitement for learning by presenting fascinating and unusual schools from around the world to their kindergarten and first-grade peers. A wonderful celebration of curiosity and knowledge!

We had the pleasure of hosting a special cultural lesson led by our Spanish teacher! Students learned to recreate a traditional Puerto Rican recipe and got a taste of this beautiful culture. It was an amazing, hands-on experience, and everyone enjoyed trying something new! Thank you to our Spanish teacher for sharing this part of her heritage with us. 🌍
